Thank you for making our school’s Scholastic Book Fair the Best fair ever!  You all deserve a huge pat on the back!  As a result we raised over $2700.00 for our school, which we’ll use to buy new books for our libraries.

The Fit Zone Youth Performance Camp/5th & 6th grade boys: Learn the basics of weight training, get into shape and have fun! Tuesdays and Thursdays starting October 30th-Nov 20 from 3:30-4:30. $70 per child, forms were sent home, return to office with payment by 10/27/25.

Reminder: Colder weather is upon us! Please send your children in warm clothing to school! Please label gloves, coats and boots! If someone does not have warm weather gear for their child, please reach out to Nurse Heather(heather.gaikowski@k12.sd.us)and we can get them some to keep. Thank you!

Battle of the Books: Webster Area School Grades 3-8 will be participating in a competitive reading program called Battle of the Books. The event will be held on April 22nd in Watertown. Meetings will be held after school for about an hour every few weeks starting in February through Mid April. Grades 7-8 will probably meet during Homeroom. Sign up by October 18. Flu Shot Clinic: Day County Department of Health will be hosting a Flu Shot clinic for anyone 6 months to 18 years of age at Webster Area Elementary School October 21^ststarting at 9 am. Please see attached forms. Signed forms due to the office by October 16^th only if you want your child to receive a flu vaccine. Department of Health will bill your insurance so a FRONT AND BACK copy of your insurance card is needed with the consent form. Again, this is only if you WANT your child to receive a vaccine.
