Walkers Safety Reminder
Stop, Look, and Listen Before Crossing – Always stop at the curb or edge of the road, look left-right-left for cars, and listen for traffic sounds before stepping into the crosswalk. Keep looking while you cross.

Stay on Sidewalks and Cross at Crosswalks – Always use the sidewalk when available. Only cross streets at marked crosswalks or corners where drivers expect to see pedestrians.

Wrestling
Open Mats will be on Mondays @ 7:00 PM in the Armory all throughout these preseason months for any kids who want to attend. These would be perfect opportunities for kids who may want to join to come; new joins are welcome to come poke around and see what wrestling all is about, or even just to meet and talk with Coach Damen and Coach Tyson. Don't worry about shoes or headgear yet, if you want to try, just show up!

Flu Shot Clinic-Day County Department of Health will be hosting a Flu Shot clinic for students and staff at Webster Area School in the elementary office on October 16th starting at 9 am. Signed forms are due to the office by October 13th only if you want your child to receive a flu vaccine. Department of Health will bill your insurance, so a FRONT AND BACK copy of your insurance card is needed with the consent form. Again, this is only if you WANT your child to receive a vaccine. Student Accident Insurance

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Because medical costs can be expensive, Webster School District does provide families the opportunity to purchase student accident insurance on their student through Student Assurance Services, Inc. This supplemental policy would assist with your out-of-pocket medical expenses (i.e. deductible) should your student sustain an accidental injury while coverage is in effect. Also, if you do not have any insurance on your student, this would be primary for accidental injuries. There is a variety of coverage options and premiums are a one-time payment for the school year.
